Zach Six

Owner

Zach is the owner and the reason the agency exists today! In 2006 Zach decided while continuing his post-secondary education that he would also attend Hondros College to obtain his insurance license. It wasn’t long after passing the state exam for his property and casualty license that he went back to obtain his life, health, accident, and variable licenses. After speaking with numerous captive and independent agents, he decided that the independent route was the one he wanted to pursue.

In September of 2006, an opportunity came about from the late Tony Yates of Greene County Insurance LLC located in Xenia, Ohio to become an independent outside sales-producing agent. This was the start of his new career but it wasn’t your typical “start working in an office” route that most insurance agents take. With the insurance agency being in Xenia, but most of Zach’s client base being in his hometown of Washington CH, he had to do most of his work on the road. This meant meeting clients at their homes and working long evenings. A lot like the old-time debit insurance agents used to. He started his insurance book of business from scratch and grew it one person at a time. Zach quickly built a reputation for being trustworthy and friendly. He would go above and beyond his duties to make sure each client was taken care of & tried to place himself in his client’s shoes to figure out what would work best for them.

From the beginning he was told becoming a successful independent insurance agent is extremely hard to start & maintain, but his determination proved to be stronger than those doubts. After three and half years of working to grow his client base, Zach was given the opportunity to branch off and open his own insurance agency. In 2010, Six Insurance Services LLC was born! At this time Zach’s wife, Jessica, obtained her insurance license. They wanted to serve their community better so they opened an office at 149 South Fayette Street in Washington CH. After having a very successful start to his new agency he ended up purchasing an office building at 206 East Court Street during the fall of 2011. It was a great location to really take the insurance agency to the next level. Through the ups and downs, Zach never lost sight of wanting to be successful in his insurance career.

In March of 2017, another great opportunity presented itself in the form of a different office location where he could better serve his clients. That was when he took the plunge and decided to purchase the old Pat’s Ceramics building located at 730 Leesburg Avenue. It was no small task in remodeling the building but after a few months & the help of many, it was ready! He sold the old office building located on Court Street (currently where the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce is located) and moved to the Leesburg Avenue office. From the better parking available to the friendly neighbors around the area, he very much enjoys his new (and hopefully final) location! He has only seen success since moving there and hopes to serve the community for many years.
